Dimitris Theofanous

Managing Director

Dimitris is a graduate of the Department of Maritime Studies of the University of Piraeus and holds an International MBA, Major in Marketing & Strategy, from Athens University of Economics and Business as a fellow of the “Alexandros Onassis” Foundation.

He has been the General Manager of Pizza Hut & KFC Greece, having under his responsibility the overall digital and not only transformation of the group. In addition, he held the position of Business Unit Director at you.gr, the e-tailer of the Quest group, one of the largest e-tailers in Greece in the fields of Technology & Living (Consumer Electronics, FMCG Products, SDA, etc.) Prior to you.gr, he was a founding member and member of the Management Team of ricardo.gr, in Marketing & Sales, brandsGalaxy.gr, ANT1 Group, as Director of Commercial Development and Marketing and of airtickets.gr as Marketing Director.

Dimitris has been the President of the Greek eCommerce Association (GRECA) in the period 2015-2016 while being responsible for the Association’s European relations and extroversion. A frequent  guest speaker at educational seminars and conferences, he serves currently as a Strategy & Board Advisor in various companies.

Dr. Ioannis Nikolaou

Dr Ioannis Nikolaou is a Work & Organizational Psychologist, Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Director of the MSc in Human Resources Management at Athens University of Economics and Business.

Dr Nikolaou has gained wide working experience as an Assistant Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Greece at the department of Global Human Resources Solutions and as Head of the Training Department at Egnatia Bank before starting his academic career. He has written the books “Organizational Psychology & Behaviour” and “Managing Human Capital – Greek Case Studies” (in Greek) and co-edited with Janneke Oostrom the book Employee Recruitment, Selection, and Assessment. Contemporary Issues for Theory and Practice. (Routledge/Psychology Press).

He has also published in international peer-reviewed academic journals, while his research interests lay in the field of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Management, and more specifically in employee recruitment, selection and assessment. He teaches courses in undergraduate (Organisational Psychology and Personal Skills Development) and post-graduate level (Employee Selection, Performance Appraisal and Development, Organisational Behaviour & Human Resources Management, Personal Skills Development) at Athens University of Economics and Business, while maintaining active links with the industry through Human Resource consulting projects (National Bank of Greece, Emporiki Bank, Kantor Management Consulting, Attika Bank) and executive training. His most recent collaborations in executive training and management consulting include companies, such as Metro, OTE Academy, EFG Eurobank, Ethniki Asfalistiki, Misko-Barilla, Lion Hellas, Pfizer, SEAT, Infote, Dodoni, OSE, Metaxas Diagnostics, Intracom, AB Vasilopoulos, etc.

Dr. Konstantinos Fouskas

Dr. Konstantinos Fouskas, is Associate Professor of “Digital Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation” in the Department of Applied informatics at the University of Macedonia. He is teaching in the area of digital innovation and entrepreneurship, e-business and e-commerce, technology management and Digital transformation. He is also teaching and collaborating with a number of other Academic Institutes in the areas of innovation and entrepreneurship in Greece and worldwide. His has over 50 research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences and he has participated in more than 30 funded International and National research projects related to entrepreneurship, innovation, and ICT.

He has significant professional experience in public and private sector related to financial management, strategy formulation, business reengineering and intrapreneurship. He also has a significant experience in innovation management and technology transfer through his participation in the European Space Agency (ESA) program, Technology Transfer initiative. He has established technology oriented ventures with global presence and he has utilized this professional experience to mentor more than 100 new entrepreneurial teams through various Incubator programs such as OK!Thess (also member of the board), Ace-in, Orange Grove, EGG , Innovathens, Power up! by Innoenergy, Ekinisi Lab and more and in innovation competitions such as e-innovation, Business Seeds by NBG and FinQuest by Alpha Bank. At the same time, in collaboration with private and public organizations, he is a consultant on issues related to the smooth organizational transition and strategic planning on issues of Digital Transformation and utilization of new technologies. He is a member of the Digital Transformation Committee of the Hellenic Exporters Association and a member of the electronic invoicing working group in public procurement.

Dr. Vasileios Zeimpekis

Dr. Vasileios Zeimpekis is appointed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Financial and Management Engineering at the University of the Aegean. He is also the President of the Hellenic Logistics Association, the most significant scientific organization in Greece. Dr. Zeimpekis participates also as an official Member at the Hellenic Committee for the Development and Competitiveness proving pro bono advisory services in the Greek government concerning supply chain strategy and policy issues. Vasileios is also acting as an Executive Advisor at OPTILOG Advisory Services and he is also working as transport and logistics expert at the United Nations (UNECE) as well as at the European Union (DG MOVE). Vasileios has a significant experience in Supply Chain Management with emphasis on freight transport, warehousing, and Information Systems. He has published 7 international edited volumes in the management of Supply Chains and more than 100 papers and studies in academic journals and conferences. During the last fifteen years he has participated in more than 50 research projects and  more than 150 industrial projects.  Dr. Zeimpekis acts also as an instructor in executive seminars and workshops in public organizations and private firms and has given numerous lectures in various Universities all over the world. Dr. Zeimpekis holds a BEng(Hons) in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Essex (UK), an MSc in Mobile & Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey (UK) and an MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick (UK). He earned his PhD from the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (GR). Dr. Zeimpekis is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, of the Economic Chamber of Greece, and the European Technical Chamber (FEANI).
